Unplug all cables going into laptop. Flip laptop upside down and remove compaq presario cq62 battery.

Remove 3 screws covering panel shown. Remove cover.

Remove white screw on WLAN card.

Remove 2 wires connected to WLAN card by pulling directly out. Keep in mind which wire corresponds with which position for reassembly.

Remove WLAN card by lifting edge to a 45 degree angle and carefully pulling outward.

Remove 2 screws from top cover.Remove top cover.

Remove 3 screws holding HDD in place.

Disconnect HDD by removing cable connected to system board. Pull cable head directly up with light pressure.

Remove HDD by lifting directly up.

Remove 10 screws on bottom of laptop.
